Introduction
The Peace House Medical Missions (PHMM) is a non-profit, non-governmental, inter-denominational organization with a purpose of making men to become like Jesus through medical missions.

Our settings are rural but we also engage in meeting the needs of the urban dwellers that are not reached by the gospel and health care.

Our strategy is to deliver medical care by the most appropriate technology within the context of Christ centred relationships using men and women who have been called first to serve the Lord as properly trained professionals.

Mission Statement:
Compassion and care for the total man through medical missions.

Our mandate:
Beloved, in regards to all things, I pray that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. (3 John 12 MKJV)

Our Objectives: 
To Serve: To meet perceived medical needs in various villages / communities.

To Minister: To make Christ known in every community of operation and thereafter disciple them unto Christ-like maturity.

Conditions for Staff:
Staff to be recruited must meet the following conditions:
Be converted.
Be professionally or academically qualified
Have received a call to full time ministry
Be disciples of the Lord Jesus

Hence staff members are volunteers, who have been called to serve the Lord through the medical profession. They are expected to do their work as unto the Lord.

The Peace House Medical Mission does not pay salaries to staff; since working for God in Peace House transcends material or monetary considerations and benefits. However, the welfare of each staff is well catered for.

Health Personnel Needed:
The following categories of health personnel can serve the PHMM: Doctors (GPs and Specialists), Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Nurses / Midwives, Lab Scientists, Lab Technicians, Physiotherapists, Radiographers, Record Officers, Community Health Extension Workers, Nutritionists / Dieticians, Social Workers, Speech / Occupational Therapists and Ward Aids.

NON MEDICAL
The MMO would also need people to perform the following duties: Administration, Accounting, Internal auditing, engineering, secretarial services, Catering, clerical services, maintenance, driving, store management and security.

Operations:
The PH-MM has a base station (Serving as the HQ) located at Adoka, Otukpo LGC, Benue State, Nigeria. It is called Christian Medical Centre, Adoka. The vision is to establish other outfits based on perceived medical and spiritual needs in various locations within and outside NIGERIA.

We seek to sweeten and preserve the lives of those we come in contact with little tenderness, little kindness, being around, sharing and interacting lovingly until we are trusted enough for the people to unburden their inner needs to us.

Holding forth the word of life:
As appropriate, the staff will make a declaration of the good news without running foul of ethical issues.

Introducing Calvary Arrows College
 
The misdemeanour and recalcitrant behaviour of the siblings and children of God's servants all over the nations today is a major source of concern to every serious minded christian, and to us in particular. The devil has not spared in ridiculing the ministry among the unbelieving world because of the negative testimonies and scandals oozing out of the homes of several of our reputed and local gospel ministers. Many pastors have been forced to stop preaching and resigned from the ministry in shame because of their children.

Recall that Eli the priest was not particularly faulted for his personal sins, but the lives of Hophni and Phinehas his children contradicted the very words he preached from the pulpit. As such, that man of God was disgracefully laid aside. Samuel that mighty prophet of honour and integrity judged Israel over 50 years during which he turned back their hearts from apostasy to the ways of the living God. Just when he would have retired in peace to bear an eternal reward for that accomplishment- the elders of the land rose up to challenge the wisdom of following God after all “give us a king like other nations “ they said, “for your children are not like you”. 
Note also that in scriptures, the children of Priest were the ones automatically qualified to take over when the fathers are no more. By this, God was assured that the altar of incense will never be deserted. The situation at present calls for alarm! Children of Pastors, Evangelists etc care not whatsoever for such a career, those who do, care not for the life to back it up – sometimes there is outright rebellion towards the ministry and all that it stands for.
 
Whereas the reasons for this tragedy are as numerous as the subtlety of satan, God is beginning to give us some insight into some of the causes and a clear mandate on what to be done.
 
The peril of ministry is that those who handle it often become too familiar with it . Most times, we as ministers in trying to meet the demands of a busy ministry, do often presume that since our children are always with us, following us about into all our activities in the church, fellowship, prayer meetings, bible studies and family altars etc. they must be born-again, and must be growing in their relationship with the Lord. Many times there are when parents suddenly discover the uncultured hearts and the rottenness within . the kind of individual attention and care for souls we often show towards people we minister to are lacking towards our own very children and dependants.
 
Secondly the poor financial remuneration as ministers, coupled with their peculiar posting, do not always allow them to afford the best in education for them. So we often see that quiet a lot of them are “under-achieved” educationally. This is actually one of the strongest reasons a lot of ministers’ children rebel, and quietly resent God. They blame the ministry for their parents poverty and low standard of living when compared to other children whose parents are unto something else. To them, the God who forced their parents to become "pastors" instead of "business men" and engineers must be very wicked.
 

Herein lies our burden- to provide an all-holistic education specifically for FULL TIME MINISTER’ CHILDREN. Basically, it shall include thorough discipleship training and challenges…to inculcate, and train them to uphold the integrity and nobility of their peculiar call as Sons and Daughters of God’s Servants in a fast changing society. It shall provide for all-round comparative sound academics with well-qualified staff comparable with any elsewhere in the world. Furthermore, it shall seek to sow the seed for a future “Body of Christ” that is vibrant in “unity” and “oneness” as ministers’ children from various denominations learn under an atmosphere free from denominational prejudices and doctrinal biases. By God’s abundant grace, and favour, we have designed this: CALVARY ARROWS COLLEGE.

Admission is strictly by application and an appropriate placement test open to all categories of full-time ministers’ children, irrespective of location, placement, denominational background and affiliation: Pastors, Teachers, Evangelist, Missionaries, Fellowship or Ministry Overseers, Elders etc. 
Whereas, the scope and dimension of the overall training programmes and facilities are expensive and cost intensive, the school is basically for the purpose of ministry, and as such, it is funded and administered by faith in keeping with the overall dealings and mercies of God over us.
 
For full-time ministers’ children, school fees are minimal. And from time to time, subsidies and scholarship may be given in keeping along the policy of pure ministry. Successful applicants are only required to meet some minimal parental responsibilities and encouraged to support whenever, and with whatever they are led to so do. 
 However, non full-time ministers and other categories of brethren who desire to enrol their children or ward may be considered after due undertakings. Such are required to bear the full cost of their children’s training.

A. Discipleship
While not ignoring the contributions of educational psychology and other modern scientific behavioural theorems, our behavioural modification is by life impartation through the age long, divine ordained biblical DISCIPLESHIP. Students are placed under tested Spiritual guides called disciplers, who provide the much needed life-role model. Apart from the deep interpersonal relationship between students and their disciples, other character molding outlets are: 

B. Co-Curricular Activities
In commitment to thorough life discipleship, and as part of training young men and women that will be relevant in serving and declaring the manifold gifts and glory of God in our fast changing contemporary society and culture, the following co-curricular activities are made compulsory, and are rigorously pursued at all levels: 

A. Core Subjects
As further inputs to simplifying these problematic core subjects among Nigerian scholars, CALVARY ARROWS COLLEGE has ingeniously split these subjects into their distinct root components and each of these components are offered as SUBJECTS, and are taught as such by specialist:

 STAFF:
By God’s grace, all categories of staff though experienced and highly qualified academically, are first and foremost Holy Spirit filled men and women with a heart for God: They are also ministers who have received this as a primary call from God to labour selflessly among these category of people as their own mission field. Men and women whose eyes of understanding have been opened to see the overall eternal purpose of God in Christ Jesus and have also come to discover the emphasis on the life and character of Christ as the overall requirement of God from them. They themselves are disciples of the Lord Jesus, and consequently disciplers of the lives entrusted to them. Qualification for heaven is their over-riding Curricular. They are charged with producing Christ at all cost in partnership with the Holy Spirit, whether those who will be labouring in the hostel, in the classrooms of academics or in the field of co-curricular activities (presenting Christ with all long suffering and wisdom) Col. 1:27&28.
